Bursa Teknik Üniversitesi (BTÜ) akademisyenleri kentin sıvılaşma alanlarını tespit ederek deprem risk haritasını çıkarıyor. BTÜ Mühendislik ve Doğa Bilimleri Fakültesi İnşaat Mühendisliği Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Eyübhan Avcı ve ekibi, Kahramanmaraş merkezli depremlerden etkilenen illerde yıkımın nedenleri üzerine 2 yıldan fazla süre araştırma yaptı.

Bursa'nın depremselliği konusunda yıkıma neden olabilecek zemin sıvılaşmasıyla ilgili proje geliştiren Avcı, 8 akademisyenle yürüttüğü çalışma kapsamında 3 ay önce Bursa'nın zemin ve deprem risk haritasını çıkarmaya başladı.
